概要 Abstract:

Carbon credit and the trading are global common issues not only for the sustainable development of environment but also for economic impact to the developing countries. Indonesia has a biggest peatland area within tropical regions which is vastly converted to agricultural lands legally or illegally and the diminished peatland release CO2 more than before destruction. To maintain peatland as a carbon reservoir,
groundwater table has to be protected high. For the reason, we have beenanalyzing meteorological data from satellite with considering the
interaction between CO2 emission and dryness of peat soil layer. Furthermore, as an artificial impact, fire emission was estimated using
wildfire data that satellites detected. Finally, the total CO2 budget recent over 15 years could be shown in this study.
